Late Pass #7: Olu - Soul Catcher

Here's a 10 year old project from Olu that sounds as good as it did a decade ago. Soul Catcher is one of those albums thats filled with the soul and the feeling of the artist. Too often nowadays we're subjected to artists who are merely the face of someone else's sound; whole projects are controlled bythe producer or the label and we never get to know the artist. Olu's music comes across as sincere as he sings his timeless songs on Soul Catcher. He returned with another album Beautiful Place in 2005. Both are available HERE and are worth your patronage.
