Whatcha Doin Saturday?

Tomorrow is Record Store Day! In Birmingham there are only three record stores Charlemagne, Renaissance and the newbie Frigid. Make sure you stop by AT LEAST one of these tomorrow and make a purchase.

"But I dont have a record player?" Each of these stores have diversified their holdings (lol) and offer more than just vinyl. You can purchase stickers, CDS, books and even cassettes! If you feel that you MUST purchase vinyl, you can buy it and give it to me as a gift :) or another deserving individual.

There were once many record stores in Bham, but big business drove them away with more stock and competitive prices. So don't let this be your only time visiting these treasures of your city, let's keep the record store alive. In addition, there is a record show Fri and Sat 4-17 & 18, 2009 so you can get your vinyl game up there as well ANNNNND DJ Rahdu, JTD and Jr Star will be spinning at Charlemagne on Sunday 4-19-2009.
