Watch out for new music by Bei Bei and UK producer Shawn Lee which marries a unique blend of ancient tradition with studio trickery and spiritual jazz. This uplifting, genre-bending, soundclash recalls the afrocentric harping of Dorothy Ashby, the hypnotic style of Alice Coltrane, and the organic electronics of Four Tet and Quantic. For those of you new to Bei Bei, she is an internationally acclaimed Gu Zheng performer, composer and educator who was born in Chengdu, China and now resides in Southern California. Bei Bei performs solo and in various ensembles as a classical performer. Alongside, as a crossover artists, she has been collaborating with musicians from many different genres such as Jazz, Electronica, Pop, Hip-Hop, etc. 'Into A World' is a carefully crafted and unique blending that can only be described as beautiful.
