Soulive - Backwards Jack

Soulive just released their new album Up Here on Royal Family Records. No longer recording for Stax isn't the only change on this album; Toussaint is also no longer on voal duty. Vocals are contributed by drummer Alan Evans and Nigel Hall sings guest vocals on two tracks. You will also see a return to the vibe you got from the three man crew's 2002 Next album which was one of my favorite Soulive records. Take for example, Backwards Jack, a really funky swinging number from their new project!
