Tony Towerz 'Plastik Soul' Album

Not very many artists these days step outside the box, most tend to experiment but settle into a safe comfort zone that we as listeners tend to put them in. It takes a brave and truly creative mind to break convention and deliver something that defies a single definition. Tony Towerz is one of those artists, and on his mixalbum 'Plastik Soul' he shows us just outside the box he can go. The ATL native takes a cue from the Hollyweerd and infuses the album with obscure movie clips to accentuate the album's theme, which I am very much fond of. The album is a smattering of different genres ranging from pop, r&b, soul, rock, and electronic. Influenced by David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, and Bobby Brown, the singer-songwriter-producer-musician draws from those influences and his own experience and takes us on an amazing musical journey. Teaming up with his childhood friend and producer, ScottChris. They formed together the production team “The Ultra Beat Boyz” which includes two other members Furious & B. Walker. The project they delivered here is in one word amazing, a consistent vibe that will challenge your mind and change your attitudes towards new and emerging art forms, or that is the hope. That's why we need artists like Tony Towers to challenge our music morals and definitions. Are you ready to accept? Then Download: Tony Towerz 'Plastik Soul'.
