Bama Love Soul! What Izzit?

Bama Love Soul is a project that will transform from a Blog into a website by the end of 2008. It's mission is to educate and expose.
Alabama has a rich musical heritage and at times it seems that everyone knows it but the residents of the state. I endeavor to change this by profiling Alabama artists that have helped to shape the current musical landscape, hoping that once discovered we can appreciate our influence. That being done, we can begin to fight the music(?) that is thrust upon us by Mass Media and create music (once again) that the world NEEDS to hear.
Im sure if you're reading this that you know how i feel about the state of current music. In continuing my previous work to do my part to change musical taste, Ill be posting tracks and mixes that will help you become familiar with nu soul, hip hop, house and other alternative music artists.

2008 will be a great and productive year for DJ Rahdu, The Diamond Soul XXXperience and Bama Love Soul. Add this to your favorites. It will be updated at most daily, at least weekly!

""Expose:Im sure if you're reading this that you know how i feel about the state of current music."" ...Funny you are Sir. Congratulations on the beginning. ***Applause, whhoooohh, roars all over the crowd*** Well, if this is just the tip of the iceberg I guess I need to learn how to ski & snowboard and all that Jazz, must get acclimated to the weather, because I'm already interested. Good info., good vibes, i like the layout of the page and ish. I will not hold you because you have work to do, you have a music battle to start, throw some knowledge out here. So please, begin thrusting...

Man I really feel you. I'm trying to do the same thing in Montgomery. It just seems like the people of the state don't realize how rich the heritage is and how many contributions Alabama has made to Soul, House, even Drum N Bass. Let me know if I can help in any way with the blog.
